💼 CUBIG Attracts Investment from IBK Capital and Intops Investment

CUBIG, the synthetic data security company, has secured new funding from IBK Capital and Intops Investment.

This comes just two months after being selected as an innovation startup by IBK Changgong, adding to earlier investments from Naver and KDB Bank. With IBK Financial Group now on board, CUBIG continues to strengthen its network of strategic investors.

💡 Pre-Series A Round

According to the investment banking industry, CUBIG launched its Pre-Series A round last month to attract financial investors. CNTTech and KDB Bank participated in the round, purchasing newly issued RCPS shares.

IBK Capital and Intops Investment later joined with a slightly higher valuation, using the “IBKC-INTOPS New Technology Business Investment Partnership No.3” fund vehicle.

🔐 Technology Focus

Founded in 2021, CUBIG specializes in synthetic data powered by Differential Privacy (DP). Unlike traditional methods that require sharing original data with external servers, CUBIG’s solution generates synthetic datasets without exposing sensitive records — providing superior security while maintaining the advantages of synthetic data.

This technology is especially valuable in industries handling sensitive information such as finance, healthcare, and telecommunications. Multiple enterprises and institutions are currently engaged in PoC (Proof of Concept) projects with CUBIG.

📈 Market Growth

Synthetic data is gaining attention as a critical enabler for AI development. In 2022, it was listed among MIT’s Top 10 Breakthrough Technologies.

According to Grand View Research, the global synthetic data generation market was valued at USD 120 million in 2021 and is projected to grow at a CAGR of 34.8% from 2022 to 2030.

With rising demand, CUBIG is well positioned to capture opportunities in this rapidly expanding market.

CUBIG plans to use the newly raised funds to enhance its services and accelerate overseas expansion. Investors expect significant revenue growth to begin in 2025.
